Video Editing Podcast: The Language of Editing
NETS-T: Standard 4b: Address the diverse needs of all learners by using learner-centered strategies providing equitable access to appropriate digital tools and resources
The following podcast contains a lesson on video transition techniques that define the "language" of video editing. Because it is being made available in podcast format, students do not need constant Internet access to access this digital resource and instead can simply subscribe to the content via the RSS feed, download it whenever they have network access, and listen to it anywhere on any audio playback device without the need for network service. Keeping file sizes small and allowing "push" content for "when I can find it" network access keeps these digital resources equitable for all students.
